| Supported Employment: This employment is
available for both individuals and enclaves. Job
placements in the community include training on the job by a
job coach until individuals are able to work independently or
with only minimal support.
Contract Work: Many major companies have found RHA a
valuable resource for contract work. In a licensed
sheltered-workshop setting, people work to fill orders for
companies from a variety of fields.
Nature's Creations: Nature's
Creations is RHA's division for marketing products
nationwide. Creedmoor Candles is just one
example of RHA's vocational enterprises. In the vocational centers, artisans produce
an array or products, ranging from bath salts to birdhouses to
pottery. These products are sold at the vocational
centers, Nature's Creations retail outlets and by mail order.
Horticulture Programs: Several of RHA's vocational
centers boast fine greenhouses. The sun-filled places
are popular with those who enjoy working with the soil and
green plants.
Prevocational Services: In a prevocational setting,
individuals receive work-related training. RHA's
specialized staff assist as people develop vocational
interests and the skills to pursue those interests. |
