ICF/MR Homes: This group-home setting
is the most structured level of support offered by RHA, with
staff on duty around the clock. These homes provide
training to allow people with developmental disabilities to
learn daily living skills. RHA operates ICF/MR homes for
both children and adults.
DDA Homes: While less structured than ICF/MR homes,
these group homes provide support and education for adults
with developmental disabilities. Emphasis is placed on
teaching the skills that promote independence.
Supported Living: These services are provided to
support individuals in their own homes or alternative
residential options. This support can take many forms -
from providing 24-hour support to transportation to and from a
job.
Independent Living: This residential alternative
reflects the flexibility of RHA's support services. For
some people, only minimal support is required; this option
allows these individuals to live independently in a house or
an apartment with support available as needed.
Respite Services: This service is invaluable for
those who are caring for a person with developmental
disabilities at home. RHA's respite services are
available either in an individual's home or in one of our
respite facilities. Whether it's for a vacation, an
evening out, or during a family emergency, RHA's respite
services offer temporary relief to the family while providing
the high level or care that is so much a part of RHA.
