Newest Programs in North Carolina – RHA Shelby
RHA opened an office in our Southwest Region as of June 2005,
supporting people in Shelby, NC and the surrounding area. The RHA
Shelby program offers AFL and Periodic services, as well as
residential services through Support Living programs currently in
five homes. To learn more about service options in this location,

Tanzy brings to RHA many years of experience in the field of
human services. From August of 1995 to June 2005, Tanzy was the
owner, co-founder, Director of Clinical Services, and the Director
of Operations for Habilitation and Support Services, Inc., as well
as Executive Director of HELPS 1 to 1, Inc. Prior to that, Tanzy
has held positions as a Residential Program Manager, Case Manager
Specialist, Case Manager Supervisor, Program Director for ICF-MR
group homes and a Clinical Manager for MR/MI residential programs.
She is an honorably discharged Captain of the United States Air
Force and Air Force Reserves. Tanzy earned a BS Degree in
Community Health Education in 1980 from the University of
Greensboro, NC, and holds graduate study credits from Central
Missouri State University; Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
in Kansas, Missouri, and Gardner-Webb University in Boiling
Springs, NC.
Newest Programs in Tennessee - RHA Kingsport
We are pleased to announce expanded services in
Tennessee, which include the addition of the programs operated by
the newest office in Kingsport, Tennessee. Now serving more than
10 individuals in the Kingsport area, this office is operated by
Lori Wooten, Program Administrator.
Lori graduated from East Tennessee University in
1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Social
Work. She has an extensive background in human support services,
and has supported many individuals with disabilities throughout
group home in North Carolina and Tennessee. Lori also has
experience in DDA homes, ICF/MR facilities, periodic services,
vocational services, supported employment, and in MR/MI programs.
RHA now has the opportunity to bring our quality
programs to service users in the Kingsport region, and we are
eager to deliver these services to as many individuals as
